PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT COURSE IN MEDICINE, HEALTHCARE AND EDUCATION
Maintaining High Quality in Medicine and Healthcare
HIGHER PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT COURSE HEALTHCARE
This is a higher level course for practising healthcare professionals or those wishing to engage in careers in healthcare at all levels, and different settings. The completion of the course leads to the award of a higher Diploma – Level 6 (equivalent to Bachelors or BSc degree qualification), which would enable the candidates to embark on research studies or postgraduate degrees up to Masters degree equivalent (level 7)
MEDICAL AND HEALTHCARE EDUCATION COURSES
These courses are designed for those who are involved in teaching of healthcare professionals and want to develop their teaching skills or for other individuals who wish to acquire knowledge and skills in teaching and learning methods in medical and healthcare education, including exploring all issues in health care education.
ADVANCED HIGHER PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT COURSE IN MEDICINE AND HEALTHCARE
This is an advanced higher level postgraduate course for practising healthcare professionals or those wishing to engage in careers in medicine and healthcare at higher levels, The completion of the course leads to the award of an Advanced Higher Diploma – Level 7 (equivalent to Masters' degree qualification), which would enable the candidates to embark on research studies or postgraduate degrees up to Doctorate degree or PhD equivalent level 8 qualification.
MEDICAL EMERGENCY COURSES
These courses are open to all healthcare professionals and members of the public that wish to enhance or acquire new skills in dealing with various medical emergencies.
COMMUNITY HEALTHCARE COURSES
Promoting Health and Education in the Community
COURSES ON HOW TO DEAL WITH REFUGEES
These courses are designed for those who work with refugees in public and voluntary organisations for proving knowledge and practical guides on how to deal with refugees’ issues.
MEDICO-LEGAL COURSES
These courses look at legal and ethical issues in health care, including teaching of medical law practical techniques.
HEALTH PROMOTION COURSES
These courses are designed for all healthcare professionals, students and members of the public to understand the importance of health promotion issues and techniques in society.
HEALTH EDUCATION COURSES
LMA Health Education Courses provides knowledge and support for the delivery of excellent healthcare and health improvement to the patients and public in the community by ensuring that the workforce of today and tomorrow has the right numbers, skills, values and behaviours, at the right time and in the right place in order to provide effective and efficient patient care in society.
